Rare Ercol 514 Cowhorn Chair, fully restored light wood finish. Beautiful Elm seat with distinctive woodgrain; Ercol sold these chairs with a seat cushion which hid the wood but I think its too gorgeous to cover up!

The rest of the chair is Beech wood. The back and curved cowhorn arms are one continuous steam bent section, there are no splits or cracks in the wood as is often the case. The chair has been striped back, lightly sanded to a silky soft finish and oiled (3 coats) with Oslo oil.

This chair is an Ercol Original blue label chair, meaning it was produced between 1954-1976, the label is still intact, see photos.

This chair is very comfortable and would be a great addition to any room, kitchen, bedroom or lounge.
